you know every once in awhile i start to hate my car. the fact its old and 5 different colors and i dont have a 4th gear half the time and i burn oil. but then the car surprises me and makes me love it again. that was yesterday i smoked a 99 black Si now i love the car. anyone have a tranny rebuild hook up?

 

buy one on here man, i got a rebuilt si tranny on here for 300

 

Misha tell me your EXACT symptoms when the belt was off a tooth.
Mine has no power, intake is really loud, and it's misfiring pretty randomly.... I have no idea what it could be and I want to drive it off a cliff

 

well when MY timing was off by one tooth, it would idle and die instantly and then if i did keep my foot on the peddle to keep it alive, my intake was pretty ******* loud but slow response

Jonknee: i wouldnt spend more then 100 on any old tranny.. but i guess its rebuilt.. but still.

on a good note, the injectors are wired correctly now. got a surging idle but i think its cuz we bled the coolant a few times with out the heat on(im pretty dumb)

Doood check out seibon i got quoted 475 shipped for a carbon fiber hood, and i saw a carbon fiber trunk somewhere on ebay or seibon for 450, carbon fiber mirrors are all over egay.

 

i called seibon and vis, they both stopped making them, you would be lcky to find a cf hood and trunk, i still havnt !!

 

 

dude i just talked to jwood122 on here, he quoted me 470 shipped to my door for a carbon fiber hood.

Speaking of a trunk, I have a trunk leak and cant find out where its coming form.. anyone else have this problem.. or has a good way to find out and fix it

well it didnt pull hard at all, it sounded like crazy *** diesel truck with turbo or aomwthing... Didnt reved up all that nice as well. When i was talking it higher than 4k it looked like it is about to blow up. I unno waht else, didnt feel right at all. And yea my o2 code was always coming on after a 10 min drive. No matter how warm it was it just had enought air(and yea it was gettign to much air, thats why it was so loud) **** was kiking it, engine light.
