My old engine did that. Turned out the dizzy bearing or some **** like that went bad. It got really really hot and melted the rotor! I had to chisel it off w/ a screwdriver. You have to replace the entire dizzy, you can't just replace the bearing, believe me i tried.

im on my second dizzy and it starts to make that damn noise like its grinding. the first one all i had to do is keep it above 3k and it will stop but towards the end of its life it did it in any rpm. hope fully my second dizzy will last untill i swap the engine and hopefully the new dizzy wont do that.

Oh, hrm. I guess I'd have to hear it to really know if it is the same as mine was. It could be, like he said, that it skipped a tooth. Although I've never heard of it making the dizzy go weird. Get a timing gun and shoot that bitch to see for sure.

i think my timing is off cause i rev'd it and all sorts of smoke comes out of the tail pipe in high rpm. throwing no codes and i think its stuck on stupid cause ill step on the gas and it wont go nowhere doesn't even rev when i tried to smash on the freeway.

I believe so. I think all D-series pistons fit on all D-series rods. The OEM wrist pins are press-in though, you might have to get a machine shop to press them on, I dunno.

Check this out though: http://www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html

yea i checked that out but ut says that i might get lower comp around 8.5-9.8. and i remember seeing a pic of a B2 block with A6 pistons and they were sticking out pretty far so that would increase comp wouldn't?

about rotors, they were 50 bux for one before taxes, i think thats what i said the first time, if not i lied hehe i can find out for you tomorrow exactly how much in US, i work at the bank, so

About the OUT A/C PROJECT, rad support has to come out> holly thats almost extreme But i really want it out, now i look at my bay with out a battery and i really want everything out, and get the complete tuck with mpfi. And if things work out i will try to get the swap done this weekend.

Janz3n: You one extra wire on ur dizzy, like to extention coil, i dont have to do it right away when i do mpfi right? Or am i wrong? Its just looks like it.
And ask betsy if he wants to sell me his rims?

ps. with a multy port many and no batter i can get a cold air intake out of EG now, right? So its straight to the bumper, not all bet up like EF one.
