As much as I love the feel of boost, there's something to be said for a well built NA setup with a good solid tune.

If i go all motor, I'd look like this:

B20 bottom end from my friend - high compression Nippon pistons, GE LSV kit, New everything (water pump oil pump seals)

SMSP header from another friend - made for 2.0L b series motors

My GSR head with S2 intake and 70mm omni throttle. i'd sell the GSR cams and get Buddy Club Spec IV cams

only thing i would have to get is the camshafts. I could throw it all together tomorrow. but i dunno yet

its tough between the 2. i have n/a b20vtec and a my boosted lsv. the sound of all motor screaming is so damn lovely but the feel of sinking in your seat with the turbo is also a great feeling. my b20v is completely stock internals. only aem intake and blox manifold. 7 years old engine i built a long time ago still running great today.

my friend i built an engine for had b20b block with b20z piston. completely stock ctr head / ctr cams. itr header itr manifold 3' intake made 197hp and went 13.8 on street tires nexen n3000. full interior in a civic wagon.

picked up the block and some extras tonight...11:5:1 B20b

now here's the big question: should I go NA or just replace the block and have the car re-tuned?

Go NA!
less chance for points of failure in an engine imo.
Boost sure is fun though. . . .

You're out of your mind thinking of boosting when you'll be at 11.5:1 already!!! You'd need to look into meth injection and a DEAD ON tune.

i'll be doing the na b20v. friend of mine built my old B16b back to stellar condition and we should have about the same power. so when we go to the track, we'll be real even with him in his hatch.
