Hey guys I am going in the morning to pick up a one owner gold on tan lx sedan with good working a/c all stock. Already ordered a wood grain steering wheel,and a bunch of other random crap. I'm going a different route with this one. Instead of building,and boosting I'm going to leave the bay stock,and go for appearance,and suspension since I'm starting in on the Auto x this year. I have a quick question that needs to be answered asap!! It's an 88 lx,and I was told it has the same lower control arms as a type r which means I would have to get lower control arms for my new full sleeve suspension to work since it's made for the more popular control arms you guys have. Is this true? Did the 88 have stupid lca's??? Let me know asap so I can order the lca's soon. Thanks!!!

 

88's do have the stupid rear lca's. What suspension setup are you planning on running?

 

I've actually done A LOT of research on all the coilovers under $1000.00,and I've found the for the money the Progress coilovers,and Godspeed full sleeves are the best way to go for daily/auto x setup. I am going with the Godspeed since they are made in the same factory as F&F are,and cost 200 less just because of the name... A very resourseful guy told me that,and after researching they are very good for the price,but are a little stiff for big bumps.

I've already spent more on suspension/wheels,than I am the whole car,and I haven't even picked the rust bucket up yet lol. I'm getting the car for 1000,and the wheels alone almost cost that new for a normal person. haha

hey guys i went to jump my sedan to put it in neutral to push it on the trailer to take it to my garage to swap tranny's and for the two months ive had it it would go into drive but it wont move and then i tried it. I put it in reverse and it caught and moved but when i put it in drive to move on the trailer it stalled out and now it wont start. It sounds like its wanting to crank but not getting fuel or spark. I thought maybe it was just the battery but i let it charge for 45 mins and it still just cranks. Could it be the old gas from it sitting for 3 months or what im lost. Please Help!

Here's the new One owner project. Lx power everything,cold A/c,and she had EVERY receipt for anything she had done to the car,including the original window sticker when she bought it. Haha. I didn't even have it 24 hours before taking it apart,and cutting the rear 1/4's out of it because of rust. After fixing that,I'm getting it painted. The question is Should I paint it
1. Original color
2. Dark Brown/goldish
3.Black like my last one with the red pinstripe in the moldings.
Let me know opinions please. It will be getting painted soon,and I don't know about the factory color. I like it,but I've always liked darker colored cars also.
