im so USDM wannabe then
Yea that gold sedan is money, i dig the two tone
THAT CAR DOESNT EXIST :p
ok, ok it exists, i need more pics, i wanna see those wheels mounted with some tires on the ground.
well to tell you the truth, no header with a Bseries will give you more clearance in a EF. Even when i had a stock manifold i had to raise the car because i couldn't have my header 2 inches off the ground. Wehn i lived in Calgary it was fine, but here in Toronto rodas are just way to bad.
A good way out is a skid plate. You can make one out of street signs, i bolted 3 of them together, it held up for about a year, but since its just aluminium, i scraped a whole right through where the header sits. Im going to weld one out of steel next summer. MOAR SPARKS, lol
ok, ok ill give him 60 and he can send them here
i remember dragging a popcan and a cop looked at me all wierd once lol
i need a suggestion! I can potentially trade my wheels.
Trade my cv-pros 15x6.5 +37 for exact same cv pros 16x7 and 16x8 +35. Then get some 195/40 s-drives in the summer. Basically more rim, less tire, same wheel, just a bit better stance. No crazy camber hellaflush bullshit, just perfect and flush(im hoping,) i havent test fit them yet.
Should i trade?
Looks like we're all growing out of 15's, right Steve?

Anything moar than 15's is just weight/rotating mass. Now if you had plans for a big brake setup, I could understand.
Heading down to the pick-n-pull in a few. Need to source a blower motor and gonna try to hunt down a 740 or MKIII lip while I'm there.

misha, if you can do the trade go for it! because:
1: you have a low sitting engine, 16's raise the clearance above the ground but still give that slammed look. You can always lower the car more and make it look lower.
2: 16's hav a good variety of tire sizes and brands. whether you are looking for street tires, or track its all there!
3: personally if i could rock a decent set of 16's id do it
4: they are the same rims, so you'll never miss them hahahaha

I like the look of 16s, but I'm not sure I want an even smaller tire, for daily driving at least. Wheels like Regas and the Kosei K1s look much better in 16s than 15s IMO.
Well, successful trip to Capital Auto Salvage!!!

Picked up the A/C delete duct so I can pull that big *** box from underneath the dash. All 3 cost me $37.50, pretty happy. Installed the lip as soon as I got back. Went on smooth but I chopped the passenger side just a c#$% hair too short, hardly noticeable though so whatever, I can live with it. I'm just happy I can no longer see the Innovative traction bar dangling under the front end

Did i ever show these to you guys? I finished with my 88 that i picked up for $100 a while ago. These are the most recent pics i have. I need to take more since i've since slammed it, put on BBS reps and sidemarkers.

The car wasnt completely done in this pic, but you get the idea.
Also, that lip is from an early 90's Volvo, we've discussed the model before since a few of us have/had that lip.

For defs
Like mitsu said, you can get that slammed look without actually kissing the road with your oilpan. Plus, i think it fills the arches nicer, and you can still have a nice sized tyre on there.
As for rotational mass *shrug*, i would say that the extra tyre height you have on a 15" wheel to keep the same rolling diameter would probably make up the difference.
I didn't notice much/if any difference in weight when i swapped my mr5's for my current 16's.
