I am confused on something with respect to my DPFI to OBD1 JDM D15B conversion. I need some help. Virtually everything on the Rywire harness is plugged in except for a green plug labeled "fan" on the BACK side of the motor. It has a ground connector running out very close to it. The intake manifold did not come with a map sensor so I tried to plug in the green plug to the stock DPFI map sensor hoping the green plug was just mislabled, but it did not work. Someone told me all of the Honda map sensors are the same after '88. Can someone please help me with some clarification? I'm wondering if I need a newer map sensor or if I need to splice a different plug onto the harness that will plug into the OEM map sensor I have or maybe I'm way off base.

Its labled as a fan? I know that the green connector is a cooling fan, but im not sure about the ground. Have you tried contacting rewyre guys?

Not, yet. I know they are extremely busy so I wanted to try to figure it out first. We have the wiring all set up for the fan so I know it's not that. I'm thinking it may be mislabeled and I need a different map sensor. It's on the part of the harness that runs under the intake manifold on the backside of the motor so I don't think it could possibly be a fan plug.

You're going to have a hell of a time trying to find another sedan that clean if you ever decide you want another one.

Sell it to Jon!

it might be the fan switch that the d15b2 has where it is 2 prongs with 2 separate plugs rather than 1. could be wrong though.

i would keep it. If anything, if you have a chance just park it till later better days. In canada this clean body would go for pretty coin! I found two rust free DX's. Gold on brown with AC(my dream shell) the one locally(Toronto area) with 90km on it for 4500 and the one in BC(6500 km away from me) with 130km on it for 2300. Keep it!
