a inline pump in addition to a intank pump is a good way to ensure you won't lose fuel pressure if your main pump fails. It also takes some load off the tank pump by acting as a siphon when energized. Like gonzales said, don't waste your time unless your making serious hp's. Plus, you should never need to service your pump unless it fails which is maybe once, twice in a cars lifetime.
hey guys, i know alot of you have dslrs. i was wondering what you prefer. i am debating the nikon d60, or canon rebel xs. i looked at both of them but am yet ot make a decision.

I thought the Nikon was a little more complex, and a little more noisy in it's picture quality, though both cameras would have had much more potential then i probably will ever get to explore.
Also look into lens compatibility, i think the Canon's where more interchangeable.
But I think I found a use for that lil piece of intake tube that I was going to use to make my intake a cold air set-up.... I took off the top of my airbox on the GLI to see how it would sound, WOW... gives it more power for sure, or rather frees up a good bit of power, blow off is louder, and you really here the spool of the turbo. That lil pipe looks like a great candidate to make it a SRI setup with a cone filter!

short shifters reduce your leverage on the trans synchro usually around 50 percent. so you have to push 50 percent harder to experience the same engagement. chances are you will not all the time. itll start with slight bumping and chippin at the syncro tips then it just snowballs from there. my .02
bushings help more in terms of alignment and engagement. tho... short shifters are kinda neat when your lazy and dont like throwin your hand all crazy back and forth.

Can someone answer me this quickly:
Will a SOHC D16 FPR run fine with a DOHC d16? Will there be any issues? The FPR is stock.
What if the SOHC D16 is VTEC? Any issues?
TIA.

Hey guys, hope everyone had a nice weekend
colsanders, it's so funny that you ask that as I'm in the market as well and those two were my exact choices (unless I can find a used 20D or D80 for a good $).

Hey Dana, on that B16 swap, when you added wiring for the knock sensor, vtec solenoid, and etc on the EX. How many TOTAL added wires were there? When I say total, I mean both ground and power wires of each sensor you had to add.
I'm doing a wire tuck and I want to add the wires so that when I do/if I do decide to go LS/V, I will already have the wires run, and all I have to do is plug and play.
V2 of this harness will be a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT BETTER!!! haha!

scratch that, the ground wires can integrate with the engine harness, I would only need to add activation wires.
Also what OBD-1 wires would I have to add? Just a 4 wire 02 sensor? I can use a conversion plug for the dizzy.
