Im thinking about picking up an EF. One of the guys I work with wants to get rid of his Tahiti Green "Si". I quoted Si because it doesnt have rear disc, which I thought all EF Si's had.

His clutch is out so hes munching up the syncros, and the motor (a D15) is on its way out. The body's in decent shape and has a clean title, Im thinking I should try $400?

from how your describing it, 400 bucks should be a steal. . . .but more info would be alot helpful

That last sentence could be interpitated in two different ways.

only the crx si had rear disk brakes. and if his ef is an si it would have a d16a6 and not a d15 unless the motor was replaced before. one easy way to check if its a real si is if it has a power sunroof. but yea... $400 should be good

He told me that it was replaced with a D15 and the O-Rings are going bad , but has an Si Harness in it though. Sorry that I said all of this in the A/C thread, but I knew I would of actually gotten responses than dissed in the EF froum .
