I forgot to mention if they are 14" or 13" (which is what pop up more then 15" in CF-48) plus missing the center cap and aero disc. MR5 are usually missing the lug caps.
They are usually a Mugen "******" first wheel..and then they start moving up to RnRs and m7s</TD></TR></TABLE>

HAHAHA.

My first set of aftermarket wheels was a set of 14" +38 MR-5s with no lug caps. Then after a while I found a set of lug caps. I still have those, then I bought a set of +38 RNRs.

I don't plan on getting M7s.

Final Version MR-5s are next...

Anyone out there with an EF hatch rocking the 4x114.3 or 5 lug ITR setup? I've seen the white EF9 on 5 lug, but any others?

What do you guys know about breaking a piston ring before the motor is even assembled? I HATE piston ruing compressors! they never keep the ring compressed right before it pops into the cylinder.

Who has some tips on installing pistons? I gotta buy new rings now too. Suggestions?

^How exactly did you break it?

Also for all the wiring guys. im putting my 90 crx si cabin harness, dash, ecu, blah, blah into my 91 dx hatch. its all basically plug and play except the rear portion of the harness. correct me if im wrong, but the fuel pump wires are yellow/black and yellow/white correct? thats what colors my 89 std is unless they changed it. im going to try and start it before cleaning it all up to make sure i have the fuel pump wired right. Theres also one more wire on the hatch rear harness that the crx harness doesnt have. ill take pics if anyone needs. has anyone done this little wire harness swap before?

And dont say i should have bought a rywire harness, i love there harness' and have used em before with excellent results. im just REALLY poor and dont want to waste that crx harness or dash.

using a universal ring compressor from autozone. the rings tend to pop out between the compressor and the cylinder. But usually you can see that and make dude and fix it. I didnt see anything sticking out, so my dumbass kept trying to beat it in and fucked it up.

I know you know this now, but if the rings are compressed properly, it won't take THAT much force to tap them down into the cylinders.

Do I need the drivers side b16 mount or the b18 mount to put my b18 in my ef? I'm hoping it's the b16 one, since I saved it off my old block. I'm talking about the mount part that bolts to the block.
