Be A Man, Do The Right Thing..Go Low! and Stay Low!

 

ok, this weekend will be dumping time

do you guys have extended top hats on your suspension set ups? im debating on keeping mine or not

 

On the front I do, gonna get a set for the rear sometime probably around xmas. why would you dump the car, decrease strut travel then get rid of the things that allow you to keep a bit more of that strut travel? keep them..

 

 

because when i go low with the extended top hats, and i hit a bump it sounds like the shock is bottoming out

 

more than likely your control arm smacking the strut tower.. top hats are used to prevent struts bottoming out.. unless your spring rates are stupidly soft and you really are smashing the shocks. I have extended top hats and I just smack my control arms every now and then.

you know what, i hate to say it but you if you want the front to tuck on the lip just like the back you have to cut you shock towers and reweld them because its not the top hats that are hitting. i hear people with that question all the time i and if you want that noise to go away and tuck just like the back "you have to cut shock towers" just my 2 cents good luck

you have any further away side shots? hard to gauge when the shots are close and angled. it is low tho.

yeah..alot of otther work besides the fenders..
