I'm usually not the type to "prove" myself but a dude on my FB was saying the same thing and this is the only pic I have right now of "proof" lol I took a quick pic yesterday to shut him up. another crappy cell pic of the inside of cap. didn't feel like taking off wheel. when i replace one of my tires i will if needed... one of my tires are showing thread.

 

hmmm man, the caps will say that but when you take the caps off it clearly says it stamped behind where the lug holes are. no need to take the wheel off. if not they are fakes and you got ripped and you saying you need to take them off to see scares me

also i dont see the center part of the "waffle" is removable like mine were as you can clearly see a break, yours look to be all one piece.

 

I can remove the ring around my center caps on my Konig's. And It looks like Nelson can too if you look really really close in the picture. Did you put cash on your end?

yes the ssr's and cash on his end. you should have made 100% sure before the trade was made knowing what to look for to make sure its real. too many people dont do their homework and get scammed! idk if they are or are not. but i do have to say they didnt look real at first glance either. the gold looks like the konig remember gold as well.

EDIT: another way to check, the bbs rs's require special valve stems, the rubber generic ones will not work.

 

i some how JUST looked and saw these were forsale in FL in honda-tech back in 07, konigs with bbs centercaps man... look to be the SAME set

 

Agreed with the color. I think they maybe Konig's and the rivets are plastic. It would've been an OK trade if you didn't put cash on your end. I've seen Konig Remember's with tires and BBS caps going for $800. Almost the same price as Type X's.

one shouldnt be forced to HAVE to make sure they arnt getting scammed before they buy something, but this is an example of why, this is america...
