Kid? No kid here, calm down its just the introwebs pal.
hey guys well I bought the progress 22mm rear sway bar. I didnt do enough research on it, so I thought it would need a brace. So I went ahead and purchased an ASR brace kit. Well come to find out I dont need the brace, so im stuck.... should I sell the swaybar and buy an ITR sway or sell the brace and keep the progress 22mm. idk im lost.
Why don't you need the brace? What is different between the progress 22mm swaybar and the itr 22mm swaybar?
I run the jdm itr 23mm swaybar and a comptech subframe brace; I dont think i would run either one without the other.

^^^^^ i have asr subframe brace and asr 24mm sway
the progress sway mounts differently compared to the ITR, Progress also stated that they dont need a brace for their swaybar. Ill try and find a picture to show you.
Thats a beautiful pic.
I spoke with Progress and they said their sway bar wasn't designed to be used with a subframe brace. They only recommend tack welding it. Sport Compact Magazine also installed the Progress 22mm swaybar on a GSR for their project car and they didn't use a subframe brace. They only added additional washers.
Nino, if you already have the Progress sway bar, why not just keep it? Unless the 23mm will give you better performance.

motor's in and done. Doesn't vtec because of the lack of a knock sensor. It'll work when the hondata is in. pulls pretty hard for still being on a stock gsr ecu with no vtec.
