The OFFICIAL DC Squad --Version 3--
easily the dumbest thing i've ever heard. better MPG's and better acceleration is for "forum braggin rights". you really have no idea about anything do you? Steelies are what poor people have because they can't afford nice wheels.
What negatives? i have been rolling on mugens, volks, works, ssr's, spoons, enkei's, bbs ALLL forged wheels all less pounds per inch aka 12lb 15inch wheels and 11lb 16inch wheels in major cities and driving cross country since 1998 and i never have had any issues.
My guess is you are too naive to understand what good wheels are and talk out your ***.
amirite?

And fyi your comment about steelies being for poor people really let your ignorance shine thru. As a matter of fact i have fairly lightweight wheels on my m3. Almost forgot. I also got em on on r6 track bike but its kinda hard to tell from the photo they are aftermarket. Aftermarket motorcycle track wheels tend to stay on the "industrial" looking side. Have a peek

only thing i dont like about steelies is they seem rust very quick. and I think Brice was just making a overall statement about "light weight wheels" wasnt directed fully towards you Tarik, if you prefer steelies by all means go for it! might as well get custom ones than.

and while you go that route and your 18lbs-24lbs per wheel you can goodbye to your braking, acceleration, and gas mileage, and turn in feel, and pretty much everything else!
btw just so you understand me, im talking about diamond racing wheels that cost $85 per wheel. Those are the wheel in that pic..

The braking, turn in, accelaration etc advantages with a lightweight wheel do little for me on my daily driver. Lol the car stops turns and brakes just fine from the factory just fine for me for daily driving.
Those custom steelies on that civic look great. Nice pic!
If so that must be the noise I'm hearing
i was thinking about converting to obd1 as well. from what iv read all i need is the jumper harness, rywire injector clips obd2 to obd1 and the ecu.
since you guys know more do i need anything else? also will this eliminate my 2nd o2 sensor? i believe itr and gsr's only have 1 o2 sensor
