gotcha, i got a guy on here that has a set of slips that are semi stripped. Use to be black but left the insides untouched and still a few small spots on the spots id have to hit with the stripper or sand them. You guys think they'd still look alright with the insides black and face/spokes/lip polished?

 

I like the polish rims with inside spoke black, my buddy done that to his gsr blades and it looks hawtt as pluck!
I'll post a pic of it if you want, I almost did it to my blades but I can't force myself to paint my blades,haha

Ahh ok I understand, I would get rid of the black, polish the crap out of the rims and paint inner spokes black.

 

Those wheels look so money, that will be wayy easy to finish polishing them

 

If I was you, I would still get one. Those really are the best quality replicas of most rep. products i've ever seen. My buddy had one on his STI, and my friend has the same deep corn on his integra but it's a variant replica and they literally look the exact same, down to the signature on the wheel.

I would just make sure to invest in a quality hub/quick release and it would be totally safe and look great. Don't get an ebay hub, that shiz will fall right off while driving haha

Seems like ever since I stripped my slips, everyone else is now. Haha.

I haven't even started sanding them yet, but I stripped them using jasco and steel wool, took a damn long time just to strip them.

 

I stripped mine awhile ago....i still need to repaint the inside of the rims since paint stripper dripped down and made it look all funky.

 

I am going to strip the insides too, or at least get them down to the primer so you don't really see the black.
