Here is a little history of my cars haha. I had, here comes the list, to start off, a 1997 Acura Integra LS Four Door Blue Automatic, I loved that thing, named her Angel. I even put it on blades and slammed it on some Coils, forgot the name of the coils, then complications arose in the household and my mother kicked me out, keeping my Teg since it was under her name. I was bummed out soon after picked up a 2001 Teg LS Two Door Standard. Slammed it on Fat Fives, AEM Cold Air, DC Headers and Apexi N1 Exhaust and full catback. I loved that thing too named her Delilah, it was pretty quick for being an LS. Moved to Phoenix with my father, got caught up in the street racing there, haha. Before I took her out to Glendale one nite, my third gear was grinding, I should have taken that as a hint and went back home but I was stubborn and figured the car was just being grumpy. So, I raced a total of three times against an ls eg hatch. First two time, my second and third grinded HORRIBLY! The third race... I slammed it into 3rd and when I went to shift to 4th, it wouldnt get outta gear. Stupid me didnt realize I was redlining and then BOOM!!!! Blew the motor, I pulled over, let the car stall out, popped my hood sat on the sidewalk and stared as the smoke consumed the hot Arizona air. I felt like an emo kid! My dad was furious, I had to buy another motor, for 300 bucks complete LS swap and we dropped it in. My dad paid half for the car so you can only imagine how pissed off he was. When we moved back to El Paso he was so pissed off that he sold the car back to the dealer and I was forced to drive my dad's Jaguar X-Type everywhere, I hated it. Wasted too much gas. He figured that if he kept me from cars long enough I wouldnt want another Honda, he was wrong. I got two jobs and worked my *** off, four months and countless all nighters cuz of work later I had enough cash to buy another car. I figured this time around I wouldnt get a teg. So I went out car shopping(never go in a nice car, the sales people swarm!!!) and I stumbled on a 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback DX. She was on some 17s with silver pinstriping. Her color is what caught my attention, not Si Blue, but it was damn close, it was gorgeous. They wanted 5k for it, talked them down to 3300. So I had a hatch now, something small and compact. First thing I did was ditch the ricer wheels and put it on some cookies and remove the pintstriping. The hatch, which I named Emily, had the 99-00 headlights so I got her the SiR headlights, then got some coils, then another Apexi N1 exhaust and full cat. AEM cold air and some aftermarket headers. Then took her to the track and my stupid bf(now ex) wanted to time her, I let him, BIG mistake, bent a valve. I was furious! So there I go getting a vtec head to do a mini-me swap. Then I starte dordering more parts, SiR fogs, SiR front and rear bumpers, rear fog and then on top of that got her a B20 which I was going to build. Then I decided to get her some other wheels, I was given a set of Del Sols, which I painted constantly, first bronze then a deeper bronze then polished them, looked nice. She was coming along and the parts were ordered, I was fckn stoked!! Then I let my ex bf, yes we had broken up at this point, borrow my car to go to a friend's house. I regret that day!! Him and his friend wanted to go out to eat, so they left Emily there at his friends and took his friends CRX to go out to eat. I was at home, cleaning up the house when I get a text from my ex:
Him: "Hey, did you come pick up Emily?"
Me: "No, why?"
Him: "Cut the bullshit Desiree, did you?"
Me: "No. I let you borrow her for the day, why would I go pick it up?"
Him: "To be a bitch. Are you sure? Did you owe money on it?"
Me: "Wtf are you talking about ___?! I make my payments, wtf is going on?!"
Him: "I think Emily just got stolen..."

I stood there, didnt know wtf to do. It was like the world around me just stopped, couldnt breathe, couldnt think. I was like dead for a minute, I then sat down and stared at my phone in disbelief. I couldnt believe that it could happen to ME. Then he calls and I let him talk, I was silent, didnt know what to say or do. I broke down crying then I got mad, I wanted to kill my ex. How could he leave my car there?! So I was w/out a car, they never found her, they must have had a master key because there was no glass. And what sucked even worse was the fact that it was 2 in the afternoon when she was most likely stolen. Ugh. So I figured I'd sell all the parts I got for her and get something else, boy was I wrong. I had left her parts at my ex's house, including the head, motor and all the SiR parts. So when I asked for my parts, we werent on good terms at that point, he denied to let me go get them. I was like wtf?! I kept bugging him and even showed up at his house for them, he opens the first door but not the screen door and just stares at me.
Me: "I need my parts, I just wanna pick em up then I'll leave."
Him: "Uhhh.. I sold everything."
Me: "WHAT THE ****?! How can you sell MY parts?!"
Him: "They were in my house, theyre my property."

I lose it. I yell at him so loud I was pretty sure the neighbors could hear from down the block. I got back in my mom's TSX and took the hell off. So.. No car, no parts to sell to get something else. I figured.. Fck it, I'm outta the Honda game. So i went on living my life for about a year and a half going on two years w/out owning a Honda. I got a new bf during that time, which I love and I am still with now. He coaxed me to get back into it, he owns an 89 5.0 ragtop mustang, 94 honda civic hatch ls vtec turbo and an 03 s2000. I did miss Honda's. So I said "Fck it, lets do this." And I went on the hunt, searching high and low for something that hadnt been tampered with when I stumbled on Chelsea. 1995 Acura Integra LS, standard. Now now.. She was sitting in the sun for 2 years!! She was severely neglected, no clear coat on the hood, roof and parts of the fenders. I fell in love with her overall. 184k miles, one owner. I snagged her from the guy for $1500!!!!!! As soon as she got in my garage I smiled, my third teg. Next day I took her out on the driveway and washed her and waxed her. She wasnt registered, needed inspection, etc etc so I couldnt drive her.


it was getting close to my bday so I scraped up some cash and ON MY BDAY GOT HER REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION!! aaahhh felt good to drive her, best bday present to myself ever. got her red H's too.


the A/C wasnt working so I had to fix that and just minor stuff here and there. then i got some whatever springs from a friend and ordered some HIDs.

so i was happy so far but i wanted those wheels off!! lol, so i sold them to some ricer for 250. and got me some rota slipstreams for 280.


she was looking better, and i just HAD to put on the band-aid, freaking adorable!! then my ex found out where i worked...

ugh but whatever, and i went thru a phase of stickers. see the enjoi on my bumper? haha. and i was still rocking the Acura emblem with the H's, FAIL.

then i wanted something to put myself apart, since I have a twin in this city, so I got a spoon rep. lip.

see the fade of the clear coat on the fender? told you.

then i kept thinking.. what more can i do?? well the Acura emblem came off and was replaced with a Honda emblem, i have only seen 2 other teg's here in town with them. so i kept thinking and i found the perfect thing to set me apart!

Aaaand thats my history behind my cars and behind Chelsea, she is gonna be put on hold for a moment until I fix some things that came up wrong with her and also with my bf's hatch. Sorry it was sooo long, but hey, gives you something to read, lol!

Well wanna see if I can get in on this, ill give you a lil basic rundown about myself. An integra is one of the first imports that made me want to switch from my "v8 roots". Although I wasn't able to jump into a integra off the bat, I did make the switch into hondas. Ive had about 10 different civics, preludes, older integras but about 6 years ago I test drove a 98 GSR and fell in love. I recently was able to buy a 94 LS, stock as can be for $1300. It was cheap due to a slipping auto tranny, easy fix- took it into my buddys shop where it received a 5spd conversion. I then bought an oem 98 spec front/rear end thats sitting in storage right now. I knew I wanted to build this car right and do things Ive always wanted to do making it my dream integra that ive always wanted. I parted ways with the stock motor/tranny combo and have already been tearing into the engine bay where it will under go a full shave and wire tuck, which hopefully by the time its ready for wiring my buddy will have gotten down on working with a mil/spec harness setup, as well as brake line tuck and much more for the bay. As of now its going to be a mildly built GSR setup for all motor and keeping ac, TX heats been retarded this year- no point in building my dream car if I cant drive it every day. Exterior/Interior/Brakes+Suspension/Motor work are all things that will get insane amounts of detail and attention. I know this wont be a 2 month transformation but I am determined to get this done. Id like to join the DC Squad for inspiration and learning, I will be giving updates every week or two with what is going on with my car. I plan on posting lil "tech" articles, Ive removed all ac lines properly, power steering and looping lines properly, abs removal, dash and random interior part removals if anyone needs that kind of info im more then glad to provide little write ups. Well here is my car the way it was- no real updated shots but its stripped and getting ready for welding up some stuff in the bay.

haha yea second year of college. i just cant wait to start my upper division classes these general ed classes are getting old lol. i just spent $96 on two books. not bad but i need to buy books for 4 other classes.

 

yea my freshman year, i payed around 400 on books, 5 classes

i found a aem short ram intake for $25 i think i can make a profit out of this... i could also use it for the mean while, that way i can save up for my cold air.

 

i dnt start until next semester, took a semester off for work.. which i got fired from so dc4 project is on hold :/

oh did you guys know(at least here in cali) that honda dealers sell password jdm parts. i went in the other day and saw CF intakes, strut bars, rims im like wow pretty cool. i bet they over price it tho

well heres a little update on Elanore went and brought her to the track to see what she put down before going under the knife and with my luck it was closed and then started pouring so i took pics before it came down . pics aren't the greatest but i took them with my g1 and it was dark the the g1 got no flash ftl
