Not much action here since yesterday, only moved 1 page. Whats goin on

 

whats up squad....see that things are still goin good. Well update for me...GSR motor has been removed from my hatch due to running on only 3 cylinders, and has now been replaced with an LS (Lacking Speed), it took 3 days due to little problems to overcome and no source of light. Had the GSR out and LS in within 4hours, then ran out of daylight. Next day acutually put the swap on hold and went snowboarding, awesome time! Next day finished hooking everything up except the left axle because it broke at the boot and took about half the day to remove, from trying to hammer it out, to going to different autozones and kragens to rent an axle puller tool, to saying expletive it and cutting off the axle from the hub with a plain hacksaw. Oh and I had to wait for the JB weld to dry on the wingnut of the radiator because when i was removing it to draint he coolant, i broke it, haha and it caused a small leak. Now i have to drain the radiator by the lower hose, im ghetto like that. 3rd day, finished putting axle in, added coolant and oil, tried to start, no dice. put the wheels on car, tried jump starting, NOPE, didnt work. Tried PUSH STARTING, after couple tries and gasing, engine finally roared, BUT was misfiring like no joke, was backfiring exhaust, and the intake was popping. Had to wait a couple hours for a new starter, and distributor (i was still using my GSR dizzy as a quick start since i bought the ls block without one). Got the new starter and dizzy about 3hours later, and installed, and still the motor wouldn't stay on, would crank and turn, then die. Checked codes , 6, 14, and 21...(oh im using my p72 also since i didnt get a LS ecu with the block). Borrowed brothers LS ecu, ahh...the car cranks and turns and stays on now...but idles extremely low, like 200-300, and still throwing codes # 6 & 14. BUT the engine pulls strong still, and now my car is finally running and i have a car to use, since it is my only car and way to get around. I'm looking into correcting the problems to get the codes out tommrow, but thought I would update with the squad since my hatch is now running again.

I just washed mine after over a month The front tyres were really low on tread so i thought for a laugh i'd stick the 14" rims that came with the car on the front, the ones with the 205/55/14 yokohama avs's

Looks mad with 14's on the front, and 15's on the back, especially since the 14" tyres are wider than the 15" tyres Will take some pics in a while

 

meh was loosing the light, only one pic turned out half decent, but you cant really see the difference in tyre profiles. I'll take more pics tomorrow
