I pray that this year is gonna be a good year for me, cause just got word from my father that I could start my own shop by branching out through his shop. It's a pretty small shop area on his lot that has a 2 car garage and a good size office, and it's all mine.
So I'll keep you guys updated, and was thinking about naming the shop "C's Motorsports", what do you guy's think?

cheesy bolt on parts that are easy to keep in stock... plus, no one likes ordering from a local shop and waiting for them to get something shipped in.
basically, sell ricer crap to stay in business.. as much as you wouldn't want to sell crap like that, selling to the ignorant wannabe car guy keeps local car shops in business as they will buy damn near anything as long as to them the price seems reasonable for what they want(if they can buy a $400 set of rotas, they aren't going to buy $1000+ real deals). and above all try to offer something for every market, do not stick with just hondas or just imports.. expanding who you sell to will help keep you in business.
it's a bold move opening a performance/auto accessories shop in this day and age.. I wish you the best of luck with it bro.

Yeah that's what I was thinking like the typical intake/header/exhausts... Those are the type of thing's you can always keep in stock and sell easy.
Yeah I wasn't really looking to sell high end crap just yet cause for the most part there isn't any shop's in the local area, well except BTune but they only specialize in Toyota/Lexus crap. I was thinking about just keeping it in the Honda/Nissan field seeing how that's what's in as of right now. Hopefully everything will go smooth cause litterally the shop is located in a good spot where drivers driving by can see it. We'll see how it goes...

don't just stay with what's in... worst thing to do is start a shop off of current trends... trends don't last forever. the less specialized you are starting up, the better customer base you build.. you can narrow down and specialize later IMO
