...btw, I can't believe I see hatchback owners complaining about gas... the newest eh is 11 years old.. that's old, but still capable of 40mpg. there's a bunch of new cars now bragging about getting high 20's/low 30's.. you guys(atleast on stock motors) can pull 30mpg while driving the **** out of the car. I get 17city/21highway in my truck, my accord pulls mid 20's in just about any driving condition.

not complaining about gas mileage...just gas in general and how expensive it is to fill up a little 10 gallon tank to get the 30+ mpg a 13 year old hatch should be getting.. (mine being a 93)...i remember when i first got my hatch i could hand the guy a 20 fill up and go back for change...now i hand him a 20 and i get a little over 3/4's of a tank..being around 6 or 7 gallons..

very true...i remember when gas was like 1.50 but at least i dont have a 30 gallon tank like my company van i filled up last night and it was almost $100

I didn't used to... but 26 gallons of gas every 5 days or so makes a noticeable hit to the wallet.. and I also pump 91

try buying 26 gallons of 91 but really when I first started driving for the first year or so it was still under $1.. I can't believe I've seen it more than triple in such little time.

same with my dad..he has a company truck that they paid for and gave to him...a nice silverado extended cab...about 100 in gas too...but they just gave him a gas card and they pay for it.

If you guys think getting a ticket for parking on your lawn during your lunch break is bad, I once got fired for speeding on my lunch break.

man, they tried to find a reason to fire you... unless you're a driver of some sort.

 

Thing is it was my car. Someone said I was going to fast in the parking lot which IMO is impossible because it had pot holes big enough to eat a civic...

Yeah they really wanted me gone. I got in trouble for using the restroom the day before I was fired.

All I did was speed off with my finger out the window.

Not long after that I wrecked that car. Probably 2 weeks or so later.

mine again
