The Silverwing Forza requires a denim pantsuit and fanny pack.

I'm only about half way done. This is somewhat of a temporary fix. I need them clean for an event this weekend that I put together http://www.myspace.com/shakotan_matsuri. I will get them powdercoated when I get new tires on them which will be in a few months.

I recommend sandblasting or beadblasting the entire rim, it strips off the paint as well as all the corrosion. I know this because a friend of mine is a mechanic up here in Canada, and a lot of the calipers rust and corrode like that and turn brown, and with bead blasting, the finish comes out as if it were brand new metal after he blasts them. Then he sprays the calipers with high heat paint and he tells me they hold up really well over time since the same customers come back and he sees the condition of the caliper when he changes the pads.

Judging from that pic, it looks as though you spray painted them with the tires on? I may be wrong...but if not, is the white temporary?

Yes. I unfortunatly had to spray them with the tires on. I had an event on Saturday and they had to be fresh. Painting wheles goes against everything that I am about, especially when it comes to Mugen wheels. It's not what I wanted to do. I didn't choose the tires either...lol. They came with the wheels. The tires are almost bald anyways. I just couldn't justify dismounting them, powder coating the wheels, and paying to have the old tires mounted and balanced. I just wasn't in a position to pick up new tires.

Thanks for your advice/input
. They were sanded/cleaned/dremeled to the best of my ability. Also a rust preventing bare metal primer was used before paint. This winter I will pull them off, powder coat them, and then sell them hopefully for some SW388's
