My Mugen collection pic of the day

I bought Mark's Mugen'd DC5 RSX (Team Emotion) back in 2006. It was a very nice car and kept it for about 3-4 months. I wished I kept it, but sold it to fund my TracySports widebody S2k. The buyer ended up with the car stolen and stripped 3 weeks later

yeah, they were 16s MF-10s for a DC2 ITR I believe.

that, I don't know. From my recollection, the Mugen parts on the car are:
Mugen MF-10s
Mugen center caps
Mugen front bumper
Mugen sides
Mugen intake
Mark offered it FS. So I flew up to Boston with a buddy of mine and bought the car with cash. I had to go back to work, so I flew back the same day. My friend drove it back for me. He stopped by to go snowboarding somewhere in Pennsylvania, but he drove the car into a snowbank. Minor damage. Came back to Houston 5 days later.
When the car was stolen, the thieves were pretty stupid. Fortunately, the wheels had already been sold to someone else and it had some Work wheels I think. The interior was fully stripped. Stupid thieves, they left the Mugen front bumper and the Mugen intake though.

it was. a friend of mine who was a former Porsche race engineer laughed at the the wheels (particularly the offset) and figured Mugen could've done a better job than that. Later, I found out it was the wrong wheel for the wrong car.

looks real to me. the welds on the fakes are pretty ugly and the finish on the ends are really rough compared to the real.
