IMO sirt8669 the Mugen lettering on the badges look a little thin to me. I have a Mugen badge right in front of me.

The pic with the Mugen wing on the blue EK coupe has the same badge on it. I did end up finding this badge on other Mugen EK spoilers. Found a fake one and it looks a lot different than mine. Post a pic of your badge. I have also noticed that the older badges look different, does anyone have pics of older badges when these wings came out? I was guarunteed that this spoiler was the real deal.

This badge is definitely fake.

Thats exactly the same as the one on my wing, thanks for posting that!

 

IMO the badge on yours looks fake. Take a picture of it in daylight with no flash. Your lettering either looks too small or its super worn down. I'm not bashing you I just want this to get cleared up so someone doesnt buy a "real" wing if its indeed not real

The badge is worn down, atleast a little faded yeah and it looks exactly the same as yours.

It's just worn. I have a badge, although not as bad, is also worn a little. It does the same effect. Some people asked me if it was fake too. I bought a fresher one from ICB. Compared side by side, and it's definitely real.

directed to no one in particular, but you know, i dont get people. how does having a real badge determine whether or not the wing is actually real? i have seen fake parts with real badges, and real parts with fake badges. hasnt everyone else? what gives?

<FONT COLOR="blue"><FONT SIZE="3">The reason why you say his badges are fake is because its HELLA WORN DOWN.... look at the chroming around the edges, its all worn out, making the lettering and kanji look thinner than your new looking one.... common sense its not fake.... the wing is not fake.. the brackets are not fake.... just because you have a newer looking MUGEN badge doesnt mean sirt's OLD WORN DOWN FADED badge is fake..... just letting you and everyone else know..... and WE all thank you for looking out for us.</FONT></FONT>

<FONT SIZE="3"><FONT COLOR="blue">YOU DONT HAVE TO TYPE IN BLUE AND SOME IN CAPS TO GET THE POINT ACROSS. I said IMO it looks fake to me. Its not common sence to think that a part like Mugen would be worn down. I know alotta people here treasure there Mugen parts and wont let them get worn down. Here's some common sense.

You're comparing the side emblems of an Mugen Ferio Type SS wing to the rear emblem of a Mugen Hatch Type Style / Aero wing.

 

those brackets look to be metal like the real ones, most fake spoilers i've seen had plastic brackets.

i'll compare it to mine, i know mines real

Yes but there both EK parts so the badging should be closly the same since there from the same era unless Mugen changed the style of badging which they didnt.

Different badges for different parts man. Is it that far fetched? I know my rear "H" emblem on my hatch is different from the "H" on my girlfrend's coupe.
