honestly, I'd rather have other parts that fit then ones that don't. If i had to have a mugen bumper and it fit worse than my stock one id ditch it for a perfect fitting bumper any day of the week.

first of all i have NEVER EVER seen a mugen part fit bad. EVER! and ive owned a lot. its not the parts that fit bad,its the cars stock parts that are fitting bad. ill bet if he changed the headlight brackets, fender brackets and all that-that you could make that car have factory honda gaps easy.
still thumbs up to Vega for finding the parts.

You beat me too it. I was just about to say the exact same thing. I have honestly never seen a Mugen piece that didn't have exceptional fitament.

when its all said and done...
its better to have parts and body lines that can be fixed then body lines that can be fixed but no parts.
But the front cover fits virtually perfect for a molested, uncharished 13+ year old part

Lets face it, nothing will usually work or fit as efficiently as OEM, so I'm willing to bet that this motto doesn't apply to everything in your car.
My Mugen sidesteps both fit almost perfect, but the rear bracket doesn't line up correctly causing them to pop out and bulge sometimes. My front aero cover sags at the top now near the hood line, mostly from its own weight and being 14 years old now I would suppose. There's only one bolt that holds it from underneath, the same bolt that the OEM bumper used, and most of the holes in the bumper at the hood line needed to be bored to line up correctly.
Lets face the facts, these are mass produced fiber reinforced pieces that are pressed and processed like chalupas at T-bell, but in smaller batches using different techniques than OEM plastic molded parts are. Without test fitting each and every part, no after-market part is ever guaranteed to fit the same as OEM; heck, no OEM part is guaranteed to fit like OEM either...
I feel that as a rare part gets older and typically more rare, there is a certain pride that comes with owning it, and there is a balance that comes along with some sacrifice of quality. Just because it's not flawless doesn't make the Mona Lisa priceless. :D

Mugen wing doesnt fit US EP3's without mod because it was never designed for that car.

I bet if you had bought it brand new and gotten all the hardware that came with it and all it might also fit better. I do relize you know its 14 years old and cant expect it to fit like a part made this year for a car that is brand new either... i dont know if u have a front rebar or not but that always helps a bumper fit better...
I do know my front under spoiler fit almost like a HFP lip from honda would maybe a bit better in places but nothings perfect like you said.

wasnt designed for the US glass thats the problem... the US and Candian glass dont have the space cutout for the wing to mount properly...so its cut the wing or buy the right glass hmmmmmm i dunno which would be better

yeah we cut it and re fiber-glassed it, now it fits perfect and we didn't have to settle for a shitty Seibon piece.

I guess you never saw Caseys car before. It fits like a stomach on a fat lady who just had lipo.

Just picked this up from mugen colin for a crazy deal

Also got white RNR's comming from LmotaHB on NWP too. Hopfully by next week a mugen racing 3 wheel will be on order and a 96-98 front lip if I can find one
I think I fell in love with Mugen <3
