Yep.
Thats why I only had my Racing I wheel on my car for a few weeks. I loved the wheel though, it was really light wieght and felt really good.
I guess the Racing II does the same thing.

I have the Racing III and I have never had black come off on my hand. Maybe everyone that has had problems, has really sweaty hands?
Also, as other people have mentioned the suede will wear down. You can combat that by buying a suede brush and brushing it and keeping it clean.

I love my MOMO tuner with my EG6 horn button. Looks like the new Mugen is the same shape. The suede on the Mugen was the only reason I never got one. Plus I really like how the MOMO Tuner has red stitching which matches my seats and shift boot. Whatever the Mugen looks fresh, still wish they made it in leather.

I imagine any leather shop could do this quite easily. The suede on my Racing II has been flat for 2 years... I never had pieces of black come off on my hands though, and I tried like hell to brush it and maintain it but eventually it all wore down.
I think I'll get mine redone with black and grey leather to match the S1's.

teh hotness ^ I love it when someone has a really nice car and they totally kill it with a cornball wheel like that. I don't see how some people can have such good taste and top it off w/ a $25 ebay special lol.

HAHA, yeah.
But it's still not as bad as when you see a car that's all "race style" with tons of money dumped into it, only to be rolling on some Wal*Mart special tires.

Best example of what Sean is talking about that Disgusts me: The Amuse S2000 GT1. It has the Momo Millenium Evo steering wheel in it
I tried to find a pic but couldnt, still the car deserves something much nicer

wrapping the wheel in leather......mmmmm. sounds like it might be in the near future. because quite honestly it sucks when going out to dinner, or wherever and your hands are black.
