Cool, I've always wanted to do a Mugen motorcycle build myself.
I wonder why King doesn't want to sell the parts? I think there would be a decent amount of cyclists that would be interested in the parts for their bikes.
I'll see if I can find out anything on this, I would also love to one day build a 1000RR Mugen bike, **** would be killer!!!

The main problem is that there is already so much out there for the crotch rocket community and unless you were a true Mugen enthusiast, some riders don't even know what they are looking at.
If one thing is for certain, the $1200 price tag for nothing more than a slip on is a bit rediculous. Not hating, but there other options out there in the forms of titanium for the same price and less. Full systems at that too.

True.
King Motorsports may not be able to gain a large amount of enthusiast by themselves but if Mugen could sell some of the products threw the certified Honda motorcycle dealers they probably would gather some enthusiast over time. Prices of the products may would even drop also.
Although, if Mugen decided to do this it would throw the rarity of the products out the window, which to some would make the products less attractive.
I personally would love the idea of certified Honda dealers and King Motorsports selling Mugen motorcycle products just to have the quality parts to put on a bike.

I wont second guess the quality of Mugen products, because its top notch work and engineering, but man, I did love my Akra TI system.
Edit - I kinda like how they dont sell motorcycle parts, thats just Mugen engineering and development down the drain when some squid lays down his bike with Mugen goodies, all while leaving the dealership.

I was only joking about the bike comments guys, as you know im sure, but here, close to new jersey and their drivers, I definitely prefer to be inside a vehicle.
my dad is an insurance agent/claims adjuster here.....had a claim with a new jersey driver hitting a guy on the ben franklin bridge, he rear ended him at about 80. the guy flew off the bridge and landed on delaware ave, a former popular street for racin here in the 90's. it was about 180 feet below.
until I am away from new jersey and their drivers, i'll stick to cars. And to you nj residents....this is not my only example. your rates are the highest in the country for a reason.

They're definitely not for everyone. You should see how much the penetrated sewer lid wheels go for... you'd have a heart attack
