not nessecarily, I like the original design in general. Why do I have to conform to leaving it untouched? I like Mugen, I like what they stand for, I like how fitment is as good as you'll get in a body kit. Thats almost like saying I should buy a type-r and leave it stock... because thats how it came.

i don't really agree with some of these comments yea i know it's rare but if the dude likes it then do it, people polish m7's, gold plate brackets or center caps like my dpk buddy rudy, so i don't get why every one is jumping on this dude like if they owned it them selfs just do what you like man, i do things that aren't always agree with by others but **** them it's my **** and no one else's, that's why i cut my airwalker bumper to put a tow hook now people may think im nuts but who are they to tell me how i wanna build my project just my 2cents.

its ok on airwalker, but it's illegal to do anything to mugen
and besides plating and polish don't change the design of the wheels or caps. what he want to do is redesign the bumper, mugen wing tunnel tested that **** so it shouldn't and don't need to be change

to answer the dude's question...i have never seen a mugen bumper shaved in the way he's refering to. maybe someone out there has done it, but i've never witnessed one.

I love custom originals pieces just as much as the next guy. I think it's the fact that you're taking a discontinued, highly regarded piece that alot of these ****** would like to get their hands on, and altering it from a state that mugen/****** intended/wanted it to be.

The side lamps are also an OEM part with a function that are MEANT to be mounted in that location.
