However, it is a pretty rare thing. In the year and a half ive been here I can count on one hand how many theft cases i've heard of.
I have been in a parking lot with 4 other unlocked, windows down type R's, plus my car. All day long. I wasn't worried one bit. Go to about any shop, you see wheels, exhausts and body parts layin out behind the shop. People respect ****. In an island thats 70 miles long and 20 miles wide, you gotta respect each other.

I speak for Okinawa, not mainland, and my experiences.

Yeah, I was looking at one of the Best Motoring DVD's and it said that the Spirits MRS was stolen my jaw dropped.

I've asked this before in the old rare parts thread, but never got a response. This is the one and only pic I've ever seen of CF-48s in a 4x120 pattern. Has anyone ever seen these, know of any, or have any?

Tell me about it. One of the rare, and I mean rare, wheels made in that lug pattern. '76-'81 Accord was 4x120 then it went to 4x100 from '82-'85.

Telling me im scamming someone for selling a set of wheels for $600, yet im a scammer because 'honda market value' is anywhere from $800-$1000 (so this other phuk says) for a decent set of real SSR X's, hell, I sell them for $500 for what I paid for them and get called a scammer. ****, I almost feel bad for pocketing $500 from a set of wheels to be honest. If I posted a set of wheels for what I pay for them, I would hate to see what people would say...I honestly dont think I would sell a single thing.

What really really ****' me off is that im the most honest person to do business with. I ship almost all of my parts within 24hrs of getting the money, go out of my way for alot of people and I get called a scammer for tryin to hook people up.

</TD></TR></TABLE> I can see where your coming from, this is why I'm limiting myself to just buying smallish stuff for close friends, but for cost and shipping price, nothing for myself. Some of them cant believe the prices Yeah i'd believe there's too many window shoppers out there, and people expletiving you around when your going outta your way and doing them a favor

actually since honda has been close with comptech and american hoonda has their own performance division, i dont think there is going to be a demise over mugen. if mugen is getting cheesy, its already starting in japan with all these dinky accessories like seat covers and shift boots for fits. hardly even performance parts anymore. there's just too much money to be made by guys who want everything that says "mugen " on them

The tailgate fasteners I spent close to a bill on are produced by an entirely different company. They don't even say Mugen on them, just on the packaging.

It's my understanding that the son of Soichiro Honda started Mugen. Mugen has always been close to Honda of Japan for that reason. They are allowed special access to pre-production secrets and granted use of their R&D facility. I think I read that in Honda Tuning a few years ago, IIRC.
