Most strut bars won't fit over top hats, look at your CTR one...it was cut to make it fit.

Spoon is not really direct competition to Mugen in North America.
Spoon is still a small and surprisingly eclectic group of people. They will often never even consider whether or not someone's actually going to buy a part before they design it.
Perhaps one of the most startling examples of their philosophy is that huge and expensive hard top for the S2000.
They designed it to the aid of someone's particular racing effort in the S2000 and they really didn't give a damn about whether or not anybody would buy it until after the guy was winning races with it.
At Honda-Tech, the people who buy Spoon parts are not necessarily the people who would also be interested in Mugen parts. Slightly different concepts.
