This is well put, if you want your ride to look like it is Mugen equipped and have a little money left over, then go that route. If you want to have the real thing, and know that you are one of the few and proud who own a certain part, then seek out and find the authentic parts and spend the money required. I have become a member of the latter since I have been into Hondas. I don't mind people who fake the funk, but I do mind people who put badges on parts that weren't made by Mugen etc. Now I have to find some money so I can buy some parts.

Geeze I pointed out a Fake Mugen part in a Mugen thread.
We have been doing that for pages in this thread
Its to better educate those who don't know. That was the point.
I would love to see someone who owns some slipstreams have a **** fest with someone because they pointed out that they own slipstreams.

How the hell do you get offended because someone pointed out your stuff is fake...just bewilders me

I have never seen anything in the brochures dealing with the sedan though.
You can rock a S-1 bucket for the most part

okay. I paid 900 for my car. I am into it $450 for my wheels, and 12.95 a month for my Sirius. I am not gonna pay another grand for a seat.

I wouldn't mind a nice trunk spoiler or maybe a lip.

Seriously, I have seen 0 **** for the EF Sedan from Mugen. You'd think they would, since the model was all around the globe back then. The only difference is the 89-91 has the one piece headlamps. My 88 is the same style as the 88 JDM Sedan.....i think.

But Mugen tried to make race (inspired) (probably wrong term) parts for possible race cars

I don't think they did Much racing in sedans for the most part until recently over in Japan

 

Probably 100% true. The sedan didnt come stock with a dohc motor I am almost sure of.

Well I build my cars for myself and couldn't care less if another soul ever even finds out about it. Building cars based upon what other people think is the dumbest thing you could possibly do IMO. I never cut corners and I don't support fake parts. What others choose to do is up to them, but to me it's just not right.

I build my car for myself, and that's how it should be. I know my car doesn't hold a candle to most of the vehicles in this thread .... but I still do it my own way, and at the end of the day, it's still mine.
