Yeah, my only problem is, I was running a tanabe exhaust/midpipe, and I want to just remove the catback and bolt up the mugen, however, the tanabe doesnt use the donut style, its like the flat flange/gasket style. Therefor I have to get a new flange for the midpipe I guess </TD></TR></TABLE>

OHHHH. you didnt tell us that. The Honda/Mugen exhaust uses a donut style gasket and spring bolts to prevent leaks and provide movement. A flat style gasket will leak and burn up. When I bought my car it had a twin loop on it and a Thermal B-pipe. He had a flat gasket on it and it leaked and burnt up. Not to mention the flange was exhaust clamped on and the bolts were regular bolts. I re-did it with a ITR B-pipe and donut gasket with the spring bolts and it's super stylin now.

So I should be good to go if I just get a flange made for donut style gasket welded up to my existing b-pipe. I would just get another b-pipe, but I just paid to get a carsound cat on it a month ago =P
Can't wait to get this exhaust on the car. Sick of this tanabe, and I hate it more everyday I come home and see the twinloop in my room. lol

I can understand the desperate-ness to get the thing on your car, but I just wanna take the time to do it right. Using all stainless welding etc. It will cost more, but I won't have to worry about rust and all that.

Yea get a donut style flange welded on. Donut gaskets are the more expensive/better sealing/professional solution. That's why honda uses them on the OEM setup. It's more durable and less likely to leak, and also alows for movement.

I'm so happy I could cry... too bad my H23 blew on me past sunday. Oh well, JDM H22a rollin' on MF8's isn't too bad either.

I'm pretty sure he means $50 for his services in addition to the cost of the part and shipping, but I could be wrong.
