I dont want to discredit my lip, but I have been having questions in my mind that it might not be real. I dont remember who I bought it from a couple years back, it was Harvard Blue, but had some damage. It is plastic, so there of course is no badge in the fiberglass. It DOES have the badge in the center, with never touched before rivets.

How, in a serious manner, can I reassure myself that my EG9 lip is real?

 

The real lip is made in ABS plastic with all the mounting brackets rivet on. These are some reference pictures of the real one.

Mine had *some* of the mounting brackets rivited on. A few were gone from damage.

 

Idk what ICB is selling there but my lip came off a R-81. 91 eg9 siR and its made of fiberglass. All Ferio mugen lips that iv seen are made of fiberglass.

 

mugen lips are made of abs plastic, i think the full bumpers are fiberglass not the lips esp the older lips

 

Mine looked exactly identical to the ICB one I posted, just was missing a few brackets.

False...EF9 lip was definately FG, as are both EP3 lips...its possible the lip is genuine in ABS as we know there are some out there in ABS but that doesnt mean ALL lips are ABS

 

My CL7/9 Mugen lip is ABS. DC2 bumper was fiberglass.

 

96-98 and 99-00 front lips are ABS, 96-98 sedan/coupe rear lip is fg.

The EF9 IE the 90-91 SIR lip is fiberglass read much? You are making assumtions based on a few things...not all mugen lips are FGRP we know this...but not all old lips are ABS either. Stop just posting things that you believe to be true, based on things you know.

The EF9 Mugen Lip from the Bumper is Carbon Fiber actually.
The rest of the bumper is FGRP
