Always thought the Mugen teardrop was cool in a nerdy sort of way. How does it sound on that K?

 

In for more info. Also, what are the "Alumalite" versions you speak of??

 

as far as i know, its just the color. it sounds more legit than silver though lol

 

So what were the Black finish ones called? "Blacklites"?

The appeal of the teardrop to me was to of course complete the Mugen kit/theme as well as adding an old school touch that reminds you the Del Sol was intended to be a 3rd gen CR-X (hence the name Mugen Pro.3).

It sounds great with the K in my opinion. About the same tone as my Mugen gen1 I have as well. Idle, low end all the way to vtec and beyond all sound great and luckily the muffler is in such good shape internallly despite its age.

Finally joining the R with the Mugen community.

After almost a year in the garage, I got my wing painted and can now join the Mugen community with my ITR.

 

 

That mugen teardrop is badass

 

So the letter is on the head? Gotcha. Mine are smooth. Damn, those look cool though. More?
