My latest piece of Mugen treasure. Complete Gen 1 DC2 Intake, brackets, filter and all. Bought from FORMULA.

DC2 OBD2A N1 ECU. Tried this for awhile, and didn't really like it.

Nice. Post pics of your n1 too.

And, don't forget to add replica or fugen to the title of your sideskirt fs thread.

Without google searching, from what I remember, these were designed for races that didn't allowed aftermarket / remapped ecu's so this is it's own ecu basically to be allowed for those races. Something to that effect.

They require a higher octane, and a very specific setup. I was constantly running rich, and I don't have a high enough octane here in the states to run it properly. So I sold it.

For the N1 to work properly you need JDM pistons (or similiar compression)and 93 octane(or octane booster) and it'll always run rich.

Over here we have 96 octane (98 in places) and JDM engine so it should run alright on that? Still different to whats its tuned for I guess. Just on the off chance an N1 ecu turned up for sale here

mbn drastik. I had chances to pick up so many mugen clusters over the years but never wanted one; was offered a silver bezel year n half ago and didn't buy.

For people who do competitive driving events but the series they are in limits the ECU possibilities this is a great way to go.

Drastik's "thru the wheel" shot is awesome!

I like the idea of just plugging it in and it's done. But yeah wouldn't be as good as a proper tune.
