Mugen Thread
I'm lookin for instructions on how to install it when you remove the lower half of the oem bumper and replace it with the lip instead of having it go over the existing lower half..
refer to post above...
I don't even have a comeback for that.

I will, girl. You'll be missed.

the SW is in rough shape but I'd love to have one in that condition for daily/track use.
Don't have to worry about the leather as much as you do suede, or at least for me anyways.
That or an fg360 would be nice if they didn't go for so much. I'd be happy with one w/o the sought after horn pad.

That's rarer than rare, that's the first time I've seen it installed!
Now, since it's on, you need to make a short video of what it sounds like, it's required for all Mugen Sports Muffler owners.

ive shown these over the years but figured some have not seen this before. damaged muffler i brought over and opened to see what the inside looked like. uses real fiberglass fibers to baffle the muffler. (due to the fibers holding moisture as the air passes through it also in time leads to the rusting from the inside effect which leads to the inner outlet pipe rusting through which is common with these mufflers)

It does look rather restrictive, and ground clearance is bad, but it would be a great piece at a show, which isn't my cup of tea, but it's the only reason I can think of to sport this muffler. Although, if your daily commute can keep it scratch free then I don't see why not. Nevertheless, it's very cool to see it installed and not in a catalog. How much do they go for these days?

and yea its not a muffler you would want to use to gain any respectable gains in hp.
back in 2004-2006 when i had 5 of these mufflers i sold them from $600-$850
the two that i was able to find recently were purchased over the $1,000 mark so its not for everyone but i have a certain mugen theme im going for so it wouldnt make sense not to have it, much less two of them. like i said its not for everyone and yea the money could be spent somewhere else. LOL ive seen other sellers selling them for $1,600+

i almost bought one of those for my eg sedan to rock at shows but my hks hi power was kinda rare with the eg sedan people. so i just used it since it was quickly scrapped by hks for most na cars i believe
