Hi guys - I need your help. I did some searching and didnt come up with any solid results:
Several years ago I bought an authentic Mugen front lip for my 99 civic. It was lightly used, no cracks. It's red in color with stone chips in the paint. I never installed it, no longer have the car and remembered I still had the lip when I was cleaning out the garage. Could I get some honest feedback on what these are worth? If need be I can get pics but any assistance would be helpful. Thanks in advance HT.)
I bought it from a friend YEARS ago. I believe wholeheartedly, if it is a fake (which I believe now that it may be) that he had no idea - I trust him. I would just like to know.
I see no markings on the inside of the lip, just the badge on the outside. It is plastic as well...
Honestly never seen an authentic so I have to ask the same question as above..
What should I be looking for? What would you need pictures of specifically to confirm?
The only other markings I see are on the actual metal brackets for mounting (which say MU - 04). what is that part number for the lip and where specifically should it be stamped inside?
Again, thanks for any input.
**looks identical to lip pictured half way down in the following thread. I can see hints of the the white in places on the back where red overspray from it's paintjob didn't cover it.

Hey guys I guess I feel I need to straighten some things out.
We are selling the MF 10's in 16" for any EF, DC, DC2, EG, EK with 5-lug conversions.
Some of you mentioned that when you called, you were hung up on. I apologize if people think that's what we do but the fact of the matter is that if it happened it was completely an accident.
Of the inquiries I'm aware of, the conversations have been pretty long, with people asking lots of questions and the staff here explaining in detail what's available and what these wheels fit. I know that some of you may have seen me post on this thread here and there, I usually post in the ALL-Motor forum because I am a motor guy. For those of you that don't already know, I am the service manager and a sales person.
I would like to personally let everyone know that although I don't check my PM's everyday because of the volume of work and phone calls here at King, I would like to try to help you guys and be a direct contact for parts you need. My ext. is 301 and I am usually at my desk - if not leave a message and I will call back.
I will try to help in this thread as much as possible. I know I don't have as much knowledge about old MUGEN specifics as some of you that make it your hobby, but with the wide range of experience and knowledge we have @ King, If I don't know the answer I will find out from someone that does.
Thanks,
Mike Lindquist

Mugen MF-10: Bronze, 16", +43mm, 5x114.3
You've heard the buzz – and it’s true! A one-time-only run of 16 inch Mugen MF-10s made from the original molds and material specs will be available mid to late January, 2009. We will be receiving 50 sets of Bronze MF-10s in the popular 16x7, +43mm offset, in the 5 x 114.3 lug pattern. When these are gone, they are gone… we will not be making another production run.
Fitment is for 97-01 Acura Integra Type R. These will also fit 90-01 Acura Integra and 88-00 Honda Civic/CRX, but these applications will require the 5-lug conversion. Although these wheels will fit any Honda or Acura with 5x114.3mm lug pattern, they’re only available in the +43mm offset – so check before ordering as their will be NO RETURNS.
This limited production run of the coveted Mugen MF-10 is ONLY available through King Motorsports. They are not available through, Mugen of Japan, other retailers or anywhere in Europe. We have reserved these wheels for our customers only. In order to offer this sought-after wheel while still maintaining exclusivity for those making this investment, Mugen and King Motorsports have agreed to a SINGLE RUN of 50 sets.
For those of you looking for 17 inch MF-10s, King Motorsports is in the beginning stages of negotiating a similar run of 17x8, +45mm offset, also using the 5 x 114.3 lug pattern. Please check our website for updates on these wheels.
Wheels will be sold in sets of 4 only and include valve stems and black center caps. Wheels require Mugen lug nuts with straight taper seats.
We are taking pre-orders now and wheels will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Orders for MF-10s must be placed via phone only with valid credit card – no Internet orders. Reserving a set of MF-10s requires a $1,500 down payment at time of order. Delivery to our facility is scheduled for late January 2009. Local pickup is available, shipping is additional.

King asked permission for this one-time post mentioning prices in order to dispel misinformation (and possible dis-information) regarding this development.
But...that's the end of it.
King representatives should not engage posters regarding the pricing of these items, from this point on. It would not be fair to the other companies.
