Naw u won't pass smog cause it flows to much. I barely passed smog with my set up.

 

I have a non-vtec head so top end is non existant haha. And they take pictures of your engine bay now, or at least the cop that oulled me over does....but I'm not going to buy a header any time soon, I'm just gonna be stockers until I can my money right again. Then after I grab my wheels I'll sell my custom hytech rep manifold setup and maybe get a comptech manifold and have a bigger collector welded on. The header was 300, and the ITR collector, high flow magnaflow cat, and labor added another 300 to the final cost earlier this year. It was nice as hell though.

Well mainly all the legal headers out there have an ending that's only as big as stock, and since I have a 2.25" exhaust system all the way back I don't want to the collector to stay smaller than 2", that basically makes my exhaust system only as big as stock, you know? I had the hytech replica modded sothe collector was as big as the rest of my piping.

Edit: *The collector on the JDM ITR header is the biggest reason why it's one of the better headers*

 

Yea that's y I went with the itr header. It has a bigger collector than carb legal ones. I had a comptech header but I didn't like that it had a small collector on it. Maybe ill find a beat up dc header for a gsr and take the carb plate off and weld it on a hytech header. Plus my header looks stock with heat shield.
