the tps sensor crapped out on me and now im trying to get a new throttle body for my little single. the mechanic said that the throttlebody for my car has been discontinued and is having trouble trying to find one for my car -_-

whats up james. i've been cool. finally decided to make a h-t account after lurking for so long. just trying to see whats up with the locals now that its summer. A buddy from SF named Roy said he knew some guys in your crew so I'm just seeing whats good.

aye flo you can acturally use any throttle body if u want...even a bseries on ur single cam...my boy ran a b16 on his single vtec...let me know i can probably find one for you

Well, there isn't any weird noises, but my throttle is acting pretty funny. When I step on it, it does the opposite of what it's suppose to do. Instead of revving up, it goes down and stays down for like 2 seconds, the sound of it is pretty deep also, and then it bounces up on the RPM.

 

Yeah we do, I'll inform you about it. Just check this thread from time to time. We have meets like every now and then.

wow small world huh??? its good to here from ya...yeah we have meets that are random, but sometimes we plan it a few weeks ahead of time..i kinda been flakin..i been heller busy whenever they hit me up to kick it... yeah fosho ill hit you up when ever we have our next big meet

 

sounds good guys. yeah hit me up the next meet you guys have. it doesn't have to be big. i'm still in the sacramento/elk grove area so i wouldn't mind a small meet.

 

No money for a K20, I have to find out what's wrong first, so does anyone have a clue? I checked my oil, it's still good. If my motor goes out, time for a B18C.

It's pretty damn new, trying to get at least $150, I bought it for $220. You'd have to weld it on though, or get a new flange. It's pretty mint and it sounds sick in the car and out. My mugen is better though muahaha :D

 

So Victor said it might be my timing that's causing the problem, he also said it might be my distributor. Can one else help me identify the problem?
