To help with the brightness get some casper shields or make your own. I'm going to do the same for my girl's car when I get the HID's in.

casper shields. where do you get those. i would do that if i found another set of headlights. dont want to open these up if i dont have a spare. i didnt know they made hoods like that. looks different

Yep sheet metal + your hood = mean civic.

You don't have to open up your headlights to put the shield on, I believe it just fits on your bulb like an adapter.
