Pista is the Integra of fixed gear... The Mercier Kilo is the Civic.

well to my knowledge sansin only makes hubs and since sansin and suntour essentially have the same mold it's hard to tell what his front hub is.

true, but from what i've seen sansin usually has a blackish sticker like dura ace. suntour has more of a gold sticker.

Yea the sansin pros should be that goldish color, those are the NJS ones. (also offered in 28/32h non-njs version, but the professional is the top-of-the-line model)

Sansin Pro hubs (= Suntour) with stickers removed
Suntour stuff are cranks and pedals

meh, local guy here had his samson fork break in two, also.

i'm not really sold on the whole "njs track bikes" for the street craze. at least not used ones, new off the rack is ok but there are too many unknowns with used race bikes.

i'll stick to my bareknuckle that weighs the same and i know it's not rusted through.

oh, i had some sansin pro hubs... they're really nice.

its not the fork breaking. it's the separation of the fork to crown (i think thats why vivalo got stripped)

i like njs frames, but i hear you on the used nature of them. there are alot of unknowns just like cars as well. =\ i would def not buy a dented frame. but so far i haven't been let down by a used nagasawa
