Whatever you like that's in your budget. I have different preferences depending on where the bike is made and what year it was made. Just like cars, certain parts go better w/ certain builds. I.E. you wouldn't put Mugen parts on a Volvo, ya dig?

i have mks custom nuevos with mks clips and kashimax sprint straps (it's a nice setup)

most of my friends who put together bikes or conversion just get the sylvan setup from bens which is affordable. sylvan pedals + mks clips + noname straps

i threw some mks pedals/straps/cages on my bike a few days ago. works fine. then again, i just use stuff that works well, i'm not much of a marque builder.

nothing is better than clipless, just dont use my track bike for much other than grocery runs and commuting to work so i dont need the positive engagement of being clipped in. (and you may ask yourself, why then does he roll around on a $$ track bike.

Well it's just the BB lockring that's keeping it all together, but I only ride around on the flat to work & back and such. I'm pricing a wheelset right now. I want a deep v for my huge butt but just the rear wheel or something, I dunno. Hard to do anything to it b/c i like it chrome cheap wheels and the gumwall tires. Anyone know of good gumwalls + deep v's that are on the net somewhere? Curiosu what it'd look like.

don't worry too much about getting nice pedals and cages, as you do with the straps. Cheap Christophe straps and other brands will stretch easily and ive horrible feel. It's kind of like wheels and tires....why rock Mugens with entry level Kumho's when you can rock Rotas on R compounds

today was my first day switching over from a couple years on SPDs to clips/straps on my commuter bike... can you say awkward? the massive ankle float alone about killed me. that and the only way i feel comfortable is with the straps suuuuper tight on my left foot and just loose enough on my right foot so i can pull out if i absolutely have to.

I am about to convert my '05 trek to a singlespeed. using the kit.

while i get my old cannondale frame the parts neccesary to be fixed.

anyone want to donate to the cause for a BROKE college student.

i am really stoked on being able to ride without all the gears and extra crap.
