By the way has anyone seen the scale model track bikes??? You can customize them with parts and different colors...real interesting stuff if you like scale models. You can also use their flash software and build your own, and they send it to you.

truvativ ominiums are one of the most under rated track cranks imo. stiff and decently cheap. but i know a few months back they didnt sell em seperate and only came with complete bkes. i think i seen black ones as well

EP3: (not going to quote it cuz I'm lazy) hmmmmmm, I agree with the f'd up chainline thing, but my line was find after I flipped the ring to the other side of the bolt ring, and IMO they aren't very flexy at all... I think they are a great bargain for the price.
quick question for you guys, was on my commute to work, I have 700x23 tires on the bike.
literally 5 minutes into my commute my rear tire went flat, have yet to see what caused it, but how good are 23 wide tires for commuting??? I didn't notice riding over any sharp objects. Only thing I remember was hitting a bump or incosistency in the cement.
For the first 7 minutes on my commute I am on the sidewalk near my neighborhood, after that im on the road. Dont know if that makes a difference.
Any tips to keep that from having a flat? Also stupid me, didnt confirm the pressures, but could that play a part?

-tire pressure should be noted on the tire.
-maybe you pinched the tube after you mounted the tires.
I ride on 700x23's in DC all the time...over shitty roads and some lil gaps on the road from time to time.

rear tire came mounted already, and the tires were inflated, i knew i should have checked the pressures but was so excited to go out and ride, assumed they were good.
oh well ill fix it and give it another shot.
