andels are decent for the price. and sugino messengers are ok as well but theres far from the higher end of the spectrum on cranksets. both have there down falls though.

the kazane/soma/alien/andel/iro have HORRIBLE bbs. i have yet to see anyone who rides the **** outta there bike without a bb creak. the sugino's are pretty solid except the 44mm chainline, 130bcd chainrings, and that they are actually road double cranks.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Good Info! I'll be running a Sugino BB, Messenger Crank / Arms, Soma Rear Cog / Lock rings on Mavic CXP22's. No matter what its a huge upgrade from what I currently have so... yep<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by matt [solbrothers &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">]so i was in berkley *sp?* tonight. saw my first fixed gear bike IRL.

dude was riding, hella hipster looking, i waved and yelled "HAY! FIXED GEAR BIKE!!!!". damn i was drunk

went and saw stone temple pilots, drank mah first beer. not bad </TD></TR></TABLE>

yeah all the damn hipsters around here ride them its super annoying i try to ignore them as best possible. sometimes they ride up and ask all these dumb questions
"dood, you wanna come to crit mass with me man, i'm headed there now"
"sure, let me get my car. you need a ride"
then they get pissed.

make sure the wheelset is spaced to 126mm as that's what your road frame will most likely be

honestly it shouldn't be. forks are still supposed to be spread just the same on track and road bikes. there is little difference. track bikes will also have a smaller rear distance from the track ends. can u please take a pic of how much smaller it is?

Should be able to pull the fork out just a little bit and the wheel kinda snap into place almost.

so dissapointed in you nate...
thats a old specialized front trispoke. they used to be threaded on one side so it could double as a rear wheel with the change of the axle and respacing the wheel.

So I got a set of bullhorn bars from my friend for free, then picked up so bar tape and rewrapped them. My Hour is way more comfortable with the new bars on it.
