i can either buy a 98 ex or a complete turbo kit with an sls ramhorn/3"dp, garrett .60 trim, tial 44mm vband wg, injectors/pump, chargepiping/fmic, comes with neptune evans tune, 3" exhaust...

damian...clearly you missed where i said garrett .60 trim. this isnt some horseshit 16g or ebay .50 trim on 6-8 lbs...

the kits in my friends ek 4dr sedan...ran 12.4xx on 12lbs with radials full interior with a sub in the trunk, open diff gsr trans, tune is for 16lbs but im not trying to destroy my motor in 3 months lol. i get the 3bar map, vac lines, oil lines...everything

I say go turbo, theres nothing fun about driving a stock car.

Nope he had drag radials upfront, we asked the guy to run at a light without even knowing the car was on boost, when we were next to him and we heard the loud *** external open i was like 0_0 banged third pulled a fender banged 4th and we were half a car infront, as for driver mod idk what type of PRO driver you need to be to mash the throttle at 40? Why you doubting the all motor b20 dahg?

sounds like it was a smaller turbo with a log manifold...no top end power. stock ls trans?

horsepower between boost and all motor isn't the same. 250whp boosted b series=/=250whp all motor b series. ls on 10lbs with small turbo and a log manifold will make 230-240whp, add in long gears, spool time.... na b20v w/ 230whp=instant horsepower

then why turbo your car if you need to be in the high 200s just to beat a low 200 hp car with no power adder. Sounds pretty fail to me.

Im not doubting it but dont make sense really i mean from a roll as soon as thing thing hooks it should reel you in and go by i dk

no power adder? 230whp has a serious amount of power adders. most boosted b series setups make around 300whp with stock blocks. add a piston/rod setup and my kit will make 500+whp

:idk: i dont doubt it guy here has an i/h/e kpro k20z3 ran an h22 on boost and yanked him. Its not just about power. If it was all about power Then 300 Hp turbo cars would be in the 10s.
