idk, im just sick of seeing volks, spoons, ccw's, BBS's (vw wheel anyways) etc.
Why mess with a good thing? Those wheels and brands obviously look good and are to the JDM car culture as the rest of the parts everyone else buys. If American Racing Salt Flat Specials looked good on a Honda don't you think people would do it? But it's not exactly the type of wheel, nor the style that looks good with imports. Jlines are a hit and a miss. They're custom so people want them but the styling is... flashy. I shot my friends EM1 on some jlines and I don't really think the wheels were that hot, and probably a set of blue RE30s would've looked better. But again, he wanted to step outside of the box and be different.

I was going to post this in the slammed thread but figured this might be more the place to post it

I realize this probably isn't the place to bring this up but I was just wondering, since everyone in the east says they DD their **** no matter the weather year round..

Do you DD your **** because you want to? Or because you have to. Daboy I'm not specifically talking to you, but I just wonder everyone who mentions, with pride as if they chose to DD their **** all the time. But in reality I think they're proud because that's their only option?

Not quite.

I think the DD argument is legit and everything if you drive a finished product. Cristians EP3, Kevins B16B Coupe, etc. Why DD the car you're trying to build? It's not really a good idea and while it's down you can replace things you wouldn't otherwise have the chance to replace/buy parts the car would need. You save money on not buying another car, but you don't really have to worry about anything else. I think you SHOULD enjoy the car you build as much as possible

But I just find a lot of the time people are proud to DD the only option they have, rather than actually having another DD. But having a DD should've mean your car automatically becomes a garage queen
