SlipswithStickers - what size are your wheels again?

I'm at an impasse, I can't figure out what wheels I want. I'm for sure selling my Rota GT3's and I'm 90% sure I want 16" wheels.

I've been looking at RPF1's, but man...talk about dime a dozen. I REFUSE to spend more than 900 on a set of wheels (sans tires) so that's where I'm at. I love the look of the Konig Rollers and was even shopping for some used BBS RS (at $1000 for 16x7's). I'm down for suggestions, I don't want any of the current Rota styles (would love to have a set of 16" subzeros...and no, I don't care if they're knock offs).

My dream wheels (if they were cheaper) would be 16" Work Nezarts, but at $1600...just can't pull the trigger on that.

I only drank a few beers, but had the worst hangover in my life from being so dehydrated all day at the car show....


Mine are 16x7 +35. I think they are the perfect fit, didn't have to roll the rears, and only had to bend the tabs up in the front to keep it from rubbing too bad.

 

Yeah, that's the exact look I'm going for.

No prob man. I have 205-40 Azenis RT-615 also. I think if I went up to a 45 series or a 215 it would rub slightly at the current height.

I thought about having them re-powder coated but can't think of a good color plus I'm selling my car right now.

The same thing happened to me over the weekend. I went to Huntington Beach wth a friend, he got drunk, I only had a few so I could drive him home, plus I ate a lot of food, but the next morning/day sucked so freaking bad man. But I felt good enough later to ride 10 miles on bike lol. BTW your car looks great as always, really should go unsaid.

 

Damn 12.7 at 90 hahaha. That thing moves, can definitely tell there is alot more in it. So what exactly happened with the car? And whats the event called? I wanna try and find a video of it with good coverage.

 

Yeah, being overly hot with no water is no fun. I worked on my buddie's truck for 5 hours the next day in 100 degree temps again and it was terrible..... There is a cold front coming through next week, so hopefully we'll get down in the mid 90s again.

1-3rd runs find and dandy, when I shift into fourth. The car doesn't want to go anymore. My best pass of the weekend was a 12.5@105 running WOT from start to finish. The rest were 12.6-7@90-95mph coasting to the finish line. ***** sad, I was hella disappointed. Car sounded great on the dyno. Didn't even think to push it on the street. Whatever, my tuner consoled me at the track and told me we'll figure it out. After he blew by me when we raced

My tuner has a 650ish hp b series. He was having 4th gear troubles all weekend. His best time was 10.5@113 . The car I raced in the last video was another h2b hatch, his is a bone stock long block with skunk2 IM, 68mm tb, custom intake pipe, ssr header and ran 12.2@108. His username here is Krut

Oh BTW, every since I drove my buddy's Supra out here I have the bug to turbo my car. Someone please talk me out of it, I've always been a NA guy, someone tell me why I shouldn't make 300whp and stay NA instead.
