Oh oops I didn't mean to sound like I was selling it. My car didn't come with A/C from the factory, so I finally bought a system. Yup, I've never had A/C. The original owner didn't want the option I guess. That didn't stop me from buying it though, it was the only Si around, and it was still 3 hours away. No A/C in the summer sucks though, plus girls are like "uhh no a/c?"

That's crazy, I could sworn I saw a shot of your B16A rocking that air condixiaonnn But now that I picture it in my head thats right, you dont have it.

I love windows down in the summer though maybe a few days its not enough but usually I'm okay. Its just the other people that ride it don't like it.

Girls freaking hate it but I love it when they take their shirts off and just chill with a tanktop So gangsta on a hatch haha.

2010 no A/C makes the car feel old/cheap and thats not the look/feel I want my car to have. I'm really going for an OEM look for now and A/C +P/S Is really necessary. Who the f--- removes that stuff out of an Si!! I want A/C but P/S even more.

 

All I have on my hatch is an Alternator I feel poor

Yeah, I've been thinking about my hatch quite a bit, and I'm done with performance, all I want is OEM options. My B16A couldn't tow a Radio Flyer but knowing that it's what came in the real deal JDM models is priceless. I love that stuff. Notice I used to have i/h/e, and nice ones too like Mugen and RSR? I still like OEM better because it's made by Honda. I know, I'm crazy, right?

I took the cruise control box off my SI because I have an aftermarket wheel but I cant bring myself to remove the power steering lol

If it came with AC it would still be inthere. I really want to do power windows/locks but just have no time

 

I just added up every single A/C part from Majestic Honda. With their discount it totals $2,632. List price is around $3,692. I'm really bored if you can't tell.

I always wanted to see how much it would cost to build a EG if you bought every part brand new. It was said that Camry's would add up to 1 Million.

LOL...I gave a friend all of my A/C parts and a Broadway Mirror for $20.

Windows down for me. A/C makes me nauseous. Besides...my wife rarely rides in my car anyway.

 

I asked for the B-series compressor, but it turns I need the D-series compressor, which the guy has also. If it weren't 1°F and snowing outside I would go get it right now. Kansas weather is so schizophrenic.

 

I feel ya on the weather thing. It was soooo cold this morning that the intake manifold on my truck was shrunk up so bad it caused a massive leak between the manifold and the heads. My civic is sleeping in the garage nice and warm though. The wind chill here right now is -7 and they cancelled school all around my area for fear of kids getting frostbite haha.

Hah. If I remember correctly, they had to issue IOU's for a lot of people in california for tax returns last year.

 

Notice that in Southern California we have major universities, law schools, and medical schools all over the place (not to mention 99% of the entertainment industry). More colleges leads to more educated folks that get paid more, thus able to cope with the high cost of living.

 

Agreed but theres plenty of uneducated people out here and still making it.

 

I'm from Oklahoma City, but it is pretty cold all over the midwest right now I think.
