whiteslips^^^i forgot if i asked, but the one reason stopping me from getting a c/f hood is how everyones turns to ****. but for some reason urs is always flawless.

u think if i got extra clear coats sprayed instantly when i bought the hood it would last forever?

that is the secret! Get it cleared, keep it waxed

I got mine wet sanded with 1000 grit and then they used a tack cloth and sprayed a couple coats of dupont clear and wetsanded and buffed it out. I wax it about every other month. CF hoods still suck though, wish I would have just kept my OEM one.

If I had a dime for everytime I say that to myself...
I might have asked you before, I don't remember, but what suspension setup do you have man? And while I am here...what side mirrors...are they the real ones or knockoffs. I am looking for a good set on my hatch, but I am afraid to buy knockoffs, but I am not about to spend 400 on some mirrors that will eat bugs everyday!

 

my new project, SiR Mikeys old hatch shell. got it registered today! should be done it two-three weeks.

I've got Skunk 2 sport shocks with Omni sleeves all the way down in the back and about an inch left in the front. Rides like dogshit, but the rates are stiff enough to where I can beat on it pretty good in corners and not feel mushy.

My mirrors are the ones that Weksos sells, I think I paid less than $100 dollars for them and they fit really really nice and have held up as far as fading and stuff too.
