I thought I had all the screws out and I had a pocket knife between the dash trim peice and the climate control and the knife's locking mechanism failed and almost cut my finger off. I chipped the bone and lost a little feeling.......... Lesson learned, use the correct tools for the job you are doing......

Thanks man, I am really likin it.

Yikes! that reminds me of when i was triming a plastic peice with an exacto and a chisel blade, knife skipped off and nailed my palm at the base of my index finger. wnt right to the bone and sliced through both tendons and the nerve, had to have plastic surgery and 6 months of physical therapy to have full use of my finger again

On i lighter note, i test fitted my new wheels last night

Lookin good man, I luckily didn't hit anything too important, but it still cost me almost $1000 just for three stitches.......

Went and took some quick pictures, didn't have any dayshots with the fogs and new corners.

Thanks man, that is what I was going for, all OEM looking except a few little things. I don't know if I'll ever do anything else to the outside really.....

I'm going to rock the sohc until I get a daily driver. I can't toss out a motor that gets 40MPG. I'll put a motor in there someday, but I want to just enjoy it being maintenance free for now.

Yes, exactly my stand on swapping out my SOHC! Lately I've been giving some thought to swapping out for a DOHC, but decided against it until I have a good old DD.

Well this ain't my hatch, but it's one I'm working on. Shaved it , painted it, did the tuck on it and on the harness. Soon to be boosted H22.
LMK what you guys think.
