yep yep, exactly why i am trying a cheap *** d series turbo build. well not really cheap but only going for 300 hp. with the head i just got IT IS going to happen. i'm excited, oh and i am painting my car tomorrow fellas so i'll have pics up of my first paint job ever. wish me luck

I wouldn't be proud of that that means you have a 18-20 second car on the 1/4 mile

 

not at all. picking up the momentom is hard but the second 1/8th mile he is already going 70mph so he'll cross that distance in FAR less time. probably a 15 second car.

because the person who started the old thread sold his ef, so he was never around to update stuff. so vega made one because he's always getting on and can update it

1. stocker motor
2. SOHC smaller diameter AEM CAI
3. stocker headers
4. first time ever

other then that no excuses because I didn't build the car to be fast nor expect it to be
but I'm proud

plus you can't come up with a 1/4 time from a 1/8 by doubling the numbers
its only estimating but its not factual
you speeds are increasing as you go further

but techinically it would be 15 seconds
thats just from using other people numbers w/ the same 1/8 time @ the same speeds
