it hanging that low won't affect how it handles
you can't dump your car though but it should hold and handle just like a regualr cross member if not better

man how much hacking did the previous owner do to that car??
did it have the OEM cross member on it when purchased and how did that fit??
Do you have any alignment issues, maybe not yet because you haven't driven it but make sure you get a alignment soon as it is running.

the stock crossmember was probably tweaked with the car. i bought aftermarket cuz my header didnt fit with oem crossmember. i think im just gonna have a shop cut off the mounting points for that traction bar and weld in new ones that match the bolt holes.
i wish i woulda known how bad of shape this car was before i poured a years effort into it

how close was the header to the cross member
I'm about to get some haspsort moune and I want ot keep my stock cross member but don't know how much fowards the mounts are going to move the motor up in placement.

crx hasn't seen the road since june 1 2004.. when some friends and i rolled it home from his parents house a mile away lol. but the crx will see the road this year.. but not much. it's my track car it sounds amazing, but the video i have of it idling doesn't do it justice.
