Hey guys quick question, i was searching in the FAQ thread but couldnt find an answer, Does a 89 CRX SI cluster plug and play into an 88 EF DX hatch? i installed the crx cluster but the check engine light came on, and the Tach doesnt work. And my stock cluster works perfect with no check engine light. Do i have to get an 88-89 EF SI Cluster or do i need to wire up the tach?

i alway thought you could swap 88-89 Civic/CRX clusters with no problems

and are you refer to an EF or ED guage cluster...people toss EF around so much can never tell if they're refering to USDM or JDM

easiest way is to swap VIN's

also the easiest way to get it crushed

but the paperwork is tedious and the chances of the car making it here are slim, otherwise those cars would already be over here
